Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Air Force TSgt Cody William Ball, Age 31 of Lakenheath RAF, UK
Died Jan. 29, 2023
Cody served 13.5 years as an Air Force Aerospace propulsion mechanic of fighters. He was a great leader and mentor to his troops, and loved his job. He followed his dad’s foot steps into military service after graduating high school. Unlike this photo, he was always laughing and smiling. He was a wonderful son, brother, friend, dad, and husband. He loved animals. His family misses him terribly.
We had a great 7.63 Mile walk today. Our first stop was the 9/11 Memorial and then we walked over to the Centennial Park. We headed up town to the War Memorial Park where we read some names on the Memorial Wall and then before heading back home we made a stop at the Train Depot. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. We had 81 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
Air Force TSgt Cody William Ball will not be forgotten !
Thank you so much for walking with our wonderful son Cody today, we appreciate all you do for all our heroes! ❤️
