Army PFC Sean Paul Dodson, Age 19 of Sparta, TN.
KIA Mar. 4, 1966 Vietnam
He is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Panel 5E, Line 101
Sean is buried at Smith Chapel Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Cumberland County, TN.
PFC Dodson was killed while under hostile conditions in Binh Duong province, South Vietnam
PFC Dodson was an infantryman in B Company, 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry, 1st Infantry Division
He received the Puple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation, Combat Infantryman 1st Award.
We had a great 12.11 Mile walk today. Today we walked from my location here in Crossville, TN to his grave in the Smith Chapel Cemetery just past Pleasant Hill. It was amazing. I want to thank my friends Robert, Steve, and Sherry for walking with us today. I also want to thank those who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. It was amazing.
