My walk today was dedicated in honor of :
Korean War Army Veteran Avery Porter Aytes Sr. , Age 57 of Crossville, TN
Died June 5, 1987
He served in the Korea War 1952 – 1954.
Buried in Crossville City Cemetery.
We had a wonderful 6.62 Mile walk today. I want to thank Robert, Donna, Don, and one of Avery’s daughters Candy Aytes for walking with us today. We walked to his grave in the Crossville City Cemetery. It was snowing most of the walk. It was so beautiful out. I want to thank everyone that honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero.
Korean War Army Veteran Avery Porter Aytes Sr. will not be forgotten.
