Today my walk was dedicated in honor of:
Army PFC Lanny Ross Bolding, Age 24 of Bells, TN.
KIA Feb 16 1967 Vietnam
He is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Panel 15E, Line 39
He is buried in the Robertson Cemetery, Johnsons Grove, TN.
PFC Bolding served with Company A, 22nd Infantry, 4th Infantry Division
PFC Lanny Ross Bolding died in the Vietnam war on February 16, 1967 as a result of a gunshot wound received in hostile territory.
PFC BOlding was awarded the Silver Star medal for his actions in battle in Vietnam.
He also was awarded the Purple Heart, National Defense, Vietnam Service, and Vietnam Campaign medals.
We had a great 7.32 Mile walk today. I want to thank my friends Steve & Sherry for walking with us. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. It was amazing.
