My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Navy Veteran SKD2 Edith Shelton Hines, Age 87 of Crossville, TN.
Died Nov 1, 2007
She was a 2nd Class Storekeeper during WWII in the US Navy.
Her husband Paul A. Hines was a WWII Navy Veteran also who passed away in 1987.
She is buried in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens
They have a daughter Paula and two sons, Kasper and Russ.
We had a great 12.05 mile walk today. The weather was perfect. We walked to her grave in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us. I want to thank all those who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 387 Honks today. It was amazing.
