My walk was dedicated in honor of:
Army SSGT Adrian Louis Lynn Jr., Age 25 of Eagle Pass, TX.
KIA Nov. 23, 1967 Vietnam
He had enlisted in the Army. Entered via Regular Military. Served during the Vietnam War. He began his tour on September 20, 1967. He had the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Served with Special Forces, A 362.
Adrian is honored on the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial in Washington DC. Name inscribed at VVM Wall, Panel 30e, Line 71.
Graduated at Eagle Pass High School Class of 1961. He was on the football team and played other sports. Adrian was an open, smiling and happy person who accepted you without reservation.
We had a great 6.96 mile walk today. I want to thank everyone for the honks, waves, and salutes in helping me honor this hero. It was amazing.
