Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:

Marine LCPL Ronald Valentin, Age 21 of Fitchburg, MA.
Died Sep. 6, 2018

LCPL Valentin was stationed at Camp Hansen in Okinawa, Japan

His mother says her son Ronald was a great man with an even greater future. He was a caring, loving, intelligent, sweet, hardworking, family-oriented, motivated and determined young man. He always stayed out of trouble. He enjoyed spending time with family and close friends, going to the movies and getting together. He loved playing basketball with his brother and friends, games, Play-station and workout.
Ronald was the type of man who would give the shirt off his back for a friend and the last dollar in his wallet. Ronald was the type of man that brought people together; he was like glue. He was a family man down to his core. His personality was golden, and his sense of humor was unmatched. He was a once-in-a-lifetime type of friend, son, brother, uncle and family member. He dropped out of the University of Maine to pursue his lifelong dream, serving his country and becoming a Marine. He had big dreams and aspirations of owning a clothing brand, becoming an entrepreneur, and giving back to his community, uplifting the younger generation. He had goals and a plan after he finished serving his country. He was a smart man with a strong work ethic. He also dreamed of pursuing a career in criminal justice as either a CIA or FBI Agent, and unfortunately, my son’s dreams and goals got taken away.

Marine LCPL Ronald Valentin was murdered and the family still has no answers.
His family hasn’t received any answers from NCIS or anyone else about Ronald’s homicide. They remain in the dark and have no ansewrs. They want to know who killed Ronald and why? They will never stop pursuing answers until they find out who killed him.

If you have anything that might help you may contact his mother Gloria Curry through her FB page titled Justice for Ronny.

I want to thank Veteran PFC Jason E Jones for stepping up and taking my place today and walking with Marine LCPL Ronald Valentin. They had a great 4.09 mile walk. Jason said that they had a great walk and we want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping Jason honor this hero today. They had 110 honks today. Thank You !

Marine LCPL Ronald Valentin will not be forgotten !
