Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran James Kenneth Chadwick, Age 74 of Hot Springs, SD
Died Mar. 24, 2022
Mr. Chadwick was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked most of his life as a power plant technician. He was also of the Southern Baptist faith.
Upon honorable discharge he had reached the rank of SP5 which is no longer being used. He served in Vietnam.
We had a great 14.11 Mile walk today. We started out by walking through the gardens and then we took Northside Drive over to 70 North. What a beautiful sunrise we got to see. We took 70 north to Creston Road. We then made a stop at the Fredonia Cemetery and visited 20 of our Fallen Heroes. We continued going east and made a stop at the Green Acres Memory Gardens and found his grave. After we honored him at his grave we then visited 30 of our Fallen Brothers and then headed south on 127. We turned back West by the Bakery and headed back to the house. It was an amazing walk. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 572 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
Army Veteran James Kenneth Chadwick will not be forgotten !
