Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran PVT Tyler Arruda, Age 22 of York, PA.
Died Mar. 27, 2015
PVT Arruda served in the Army from Sep. 2012 to May. 2014
Tyler enjoyed painting, drawing, and watching the Philadelphia Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies. Tyler’s main love in life was his music. He could pick up and play any instrument. His main instrument was the guitar, which he played in his bands “Dagny Taggart” and “Dom Catovia”.
We had a great 7.52 Mile walk today. We walked by Lake Holiday and then walked up town to the War Memorial Park. We then walked over to the Outdoor Amphitheater where they have outdoor concerts and events during the summer months. We then walked over by the Music Store and we went and visited 4 of our fallen brothers in the Crossville City Cemetery. We headed back and we met another brother walking his dog and stopped and visited with him a bit. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank all who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 162 Honks. It was amazing. Thank You.
Army Veteran PVT Tyler Arruda will not be forgotten !
