My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Korean War Navy Veteran Sherman Dale Keck, Age 84 of Soddy Daisy,TN.
Died Aug. 2, 2016
He served as a Radio Operator in the Navy during the Korean War.
He enjoyed a longtime career as a PBX Technician with AT&T and was active in the AT&T Retirement Group. Following his retirement he founded the security company, Stop-A-Thief, Inc. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge. His later years were spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is burried at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Crossville, TN.
What a beautiful day for a walk. We walked to Oak Hill Cemetery this morning. I want to thank everyone that honked and waved along the way in helping me honor this hero.
He will NOT be forgotten.
