My walk this morning was dedicated in honor of:
Army CW2 Alexander S. Coulter, Age 35 of Bristol, TN.
KIA – Nov. 17, 2003 Baqubah, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom
He was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 124th Signal Battalion, 4th Infantry Division (Mech), Fort Hood, Tx.
He joined the Army in 1987 after graduating from high school and had served in Somalia, Bosnia and Operation Desert Storm.Coulter met his wife, Robin, while both were stationed in Germany. They were married 12 years. He had two daughters, Shenna and Hannah, and a stepdaughter, Cindy.Family and friends had been hopeful that Coulter would remain safe.”He said he was doing all right, and that he didn’t have to go out real often,” said his grandmother, Mrs. Stuart Coulter.
He is buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Section 25 Site 1627
Had a great walk. The honks were amazing. I want to thank everyone that honked and waved in helping me honor this hero.
He will not be forgotten.
