Our walk today was dedicated in honor of :
Army PFC Michael Dinterman, Age 18 of Littlestown, PA.
KIA Sep. 6, 2008
PFC Dinterman was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas
He was a 2006 high school graduate and was assigned to Fort Hood.
He enjoyed all types of sports including football, baseball and basketball, and he especially enjoyed going to the beach. He was taking classes at Harrisburg Area Community College.
We had a great 6.04 Mile walk today. We walked by Holiday Hills Lake and then headed up town. We made a stop at the War Memorial Park down town and read names on the Memorial Wall. We then headed north and stopped to see the big American Flag at the Bakery. We then made a stop at the Frost Cemetery to visit some of our Fallen Brothers before heading home. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero today. We had 154 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
Army PFC Michael Dinterman will not be forgotten !
