Marine Veteran CPL Timothy Lamar Sneden, Age 26 of Wilmington, NC.
Died Jun. 29, 2023
Tim joined the Marines right out of high school. He was only deployed once to Romania. When he came back, he started having stomach issues. Unfortunately no one could figure out what the issue was, basically was told over and over it was IBS, it was all in his head and he was healthy. My son lost his battle to his pain and demons on June 29th. He had the heart of a Saint and love everyone. More awareness and help needs to be in place for our heros for Mental Health and Physical Issues while in service and once out.
We had a great 6.17 Mile walk. We walked by Holiday Hills Lake and watched a couple of ducks. We then headed up town to the War Memorial Park where we read some names on the Memorial Wall. We then headed back towards the house. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. We had 102 honks. It was amazing. Thank you.
