Today my walk was dedicated in honor of:
Korea War Army Veteran SP3 John F. Henderson, Age 86 of Crossville, TN.
Died Jan. 18, 2019
John was born in Huntingdon, PA. on May 10, 1932
He worked many years in the Crossville area at, Turner Day Handle, Milk General Processing and Rubber Plants.
He and his wife spent over twenty years as missionaries in the rural area of central Honduras, Central America and returned to Crossville in 1998 due to bad health. They continued in serving the Lord Jesus Christ through the local churches, Liberty Baptist Church and Lantana Road Baptist Church.
We had an amazing walk this morning. We walked to his grave in the Crossville City Cemetery. It was a very emotional walk. I hope that I did him proud.
I want to thank everyone who honked and waved in helping me honor this hero. It was amazing.
He will not be forgotten.
