My walk today was dedicated in honor of :
Army CPL Philip Francis Adams, Age 23 of Croton Falls, NY.
KIA Nov. 23, 1967 Vietnam
Adams is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Panel 30E, Line 68.
Philip is buried at Raymond Hill, Carmel, NY.
Corporal Philip Francis Adams, Served with the 2nd Platoon, Company D, 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 196th Infantry Brigade, Americal Division
He was drafted into the Army. Entered the service via Selective Service. Served during the Vietnam War. He began his tour on July 16, 1967. Adams had the rank of Corporal. His military occupation or specialty was Light Weapons Infantry.
CPL Adams was awarded: Purple Heart, National Defense, Vietnam Service, and Vietnam Campaign Medals.
We had a great 5.34 Mile walk today. I want to thank all who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. It was amazing.
