Today our walk was dedicated in honor of :
Army Veteran PFC James Iori ,Age 85 of Fairfield Glade, TN
Died Feb. 9, 2012
He was born Sep. 19, 1926, in Chicago, IL. He was a retired electrician and a member of the Catholic Church. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
We had a great 6.69 Mile walk this morning. We left before daylight and walked up to the War Memorial Park. We then headed to his grave in the Crossville City Cemetery where we placed a flag in his honor. We visited a few of our other Fallen Brothers while we where their before heading back to the house. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero today. We had 147 honks this morning. It was amazing. Thank you.
