Today our walk was in honor of :

Navy SN Alexis Lynn Johnson, Age 23 of Commerce City, CO.
Died Feb. 21, 2021

She chose a career in the United States Navy working as a LS (Logistics Specialist)
She was the second oldest of 8. She was a very out going and loving person. She would always help anyone in need. She loves her twins so much and made it look so easy doing it.

She was a mother of twins, An amazing daughter and she was a sister as well. She will be missed by many.

It was an honor to walk 6.46 Miles with Navy SN Alexis Lynn Johnson. It was around 10 degrees out when we left the house this morning and walked by Holiday Hills Lake. We did see a few geese out in the water but not a lot. We walked over to Miller Ave. and made a stop at CCHS to see the Navy Blue Angel’s Jet. We then headed up town and made a stop at the Veterans Memorial Park where we read a few names of our Fallen Brothers on the Memorial Wall. We then walked over to Boats and Harbors and took a photo at the big boat anchor. We then walked north and made a stop at the Bakery to watch the most amazing flag flying in the wind. We then headed west and made a stop in at the Frost Cemetery to visit some of our Fallen Brothers before heading home. We had an amazing walk. It was cold but we stayed warm and the sun was so amazing. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 192 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.

Navy SN Alexis Lynn Johnson will not be forgotten !
