It was an honor to walk 6.46 Miles with Marine PFC Michael Giannattasio. We started out walking by Holiday Hills Lake. Watching the ducks for a few min then headed over to Miller Ave. We walked by Police Headquarters and the Fire station as we headed up to main street. We stopped at the Veterans Memorial Park and read several names on the Memorial Wall. We then continued up main street and turned at The Bakery. We made a stop at the Frost Cemetery to visit some of our Fallen Brothers before heading home. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 194 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
Marine PFC Michael Giannattasio will not be forgotten !
In addition to my walk , My friend Joyce walked in the state of MI Here is her post and her photos about her walk.
Buddy, candy cotton candy and I went on a walk for Marine PFC Michael Giannattasio of Armada, Michigan. This marine was lost to young. On our walking I could feel Michael looking down on me. He was keeping me going. We just had a simple 2.15 mile through the Subway near my house. I commented that I didn’t see it a lot of people flying flags. Marine PFC Michael Giannattasio greet one house that had amen saluting and navy plaque. It was a hard walk for me but I did it.
