Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Marine Veteran Lcpl Matthew Kenna, Age 27 of Baytown, TX.
Died Jan. 19, 2020
He was a graduate of Ross Sterling High School class of 2010, received his bachelor’s degree from Lee College, a veteran of the US Marine Corps, and catholic by faith. Matthew also enjoyed astrophotography, Marvel; especially Spiderman, traveling, hiking, visiting the Galveston pier, and longboarding.

We had a great 8.22 Mile walk this morning. Our first stop was the 9/11 Memorial and then we walked the trail of the Obed river Park. We then headed towards town and made a stop at the War memorial Park. Before heading back home we went by the Military Memorial Museum and we would like to thank Express Lunch for flying our beautiful colors. I want to thank everyone that Honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. We had 220 honks today. It was amazing and I can’t thank you enough for your support.

I can’t imagine your pain. All I can do is to continue to love you and your parents with all my heart. Matt is with Patti in Heaven. I can’t think of better companions for eternity.
