We had a great 13.27 Mile walk today. We walked up town to the War Memorial Park and then headed out East First Street. We stopped in the City Cemetery and visited one of our fallen brothers. We continued down East First Street and stopped in the Hyder Cemetery and visited another one of our fallen brothers. We then headed out to Peavine Road and walked to his grave in the Turner Cemetery. We then headed south on Peavine road and walked the bypass to 127 and headed back north . What a beautiful day. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us and I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 365 honks. It was amazing. Thank You.
WWII Air Force Veteran Lt. Col. Gilbert L Payne will not be forgotten !
