Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Marine CPL Benjamin S. Rosales, Age 20 of Houston, TX.
KIA Oct. 4, 2006 Operation Iraqi Freedom
CPL Rosales was assigned to 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
He was killed Oct. 4 while conducting combat operations in Rawah, Iraq.
We had a great 6.32 Mile walk this morning. What a beautiful day for our walk. We walked to the 9/11 Memorial and then headed towards town. We stopped to see the mural painting before stopping at the War Memorial Park. We then headed back to the house. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank Nicole for helping us honor this hero. I also want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 211 honks. It was amazing. Thank You !
