Our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Marine PFC Vincent Stabile, Age 25 of Sterling Heights, MI.
Died Jun. 17, 2017
Vinnie was a true Patriot he was pinned a Marine on Sept 11, 2010 he loved his Family, friends and the United States of America In that order. Vinnie is a very funny, loveable Man His smile would light the room He has a contagious laugh that everyone loved. Vin loved his sports, and was good at them. Football being his passion Baseball and wrestling to keep him in shape He loved being a Marine from his brothers to being a SawGunner 3rd Battalion 6th Marines. The war came home with him and couldn’t seem to shake his tour in Afghanistan. Vinnie was always very loved and will Never Be Forgotten.
We had a great 7.0 Mile walk today even though the temp. was in the 90’s. We walked down town to the War Memorial Park and then presented the flag for the Classic Car Cruise In. We got to meet a lot of people and we got to share our stories with some of the veterans. We then headed out on East First Street and stopped in at the City Cemetery to visit with 8 of our Fallen Brothers before heading back home. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank all those that honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. It was amazing. We had 194 honks today. Thank You !
Marine PFC Vincent Stabile will not be forgotten !
