Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Marine Veteran Joshua Lyn Deardorff, Age 27 of Biglerville,PA.
Died Dec. 21, 2016
Josh was a 2008 graduate of Biglerville High School and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 2008-2013. He had worked hard and recently received his certification as a helicopter mechanic.
We had a great 7.46 mile walk this morning. We walked by Lake Holiday and headed over by CCHS and then headed up town to the War Memorial Park. We ran into a little rain but was very light and was really nice to be out walking. We left the War Memorial Park and headed up 127 and we walked over to the 9/11 Memorial. We then headed back to the house. I want to thank everyone that honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 76 honks. It was amazing. Thank You.
