Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:

Army Veteran Roger Lee Cooper, Age 62 of Crossville, TN
Died May 5, 2022

After High School Roger began a 24 Year career in the Infantry of the United States Army. He retired from service with a rank of SFC in 2004. Following his military retirement, Roger worked for another 13 years in the maintenance department of Stonepeak Ceramics. Roger enjoyed attending dirt track races, watching sports, and most importantly, spending time with his family.

We had a great 5.85 Mile walk this morning. We walked down town to the War Memorial Park and then we walked to the Shepherd’s Little Flock Preschool on Sparta Hwy to meet with Roger’s wife Pamela. We were greeted with lots of kids wearing red, white , and blue and waving flags. It was amazing. I am sure Roger was right their with us. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. We had 154 honks today. It was amazing. Thank You !

Army Veteran Roger Lee Cooper will not be forgotten !
