Today my walk was dedicated in honor of:

Retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant Johnny S. Moore, Age 55 of Crossville, TN
Died April 19, 2016
Served in the Persian Gulf War

I went to visit his grave today at Green Acres Memory Gardens

WOW, I am almost speechless. After my walk today I can say I am proud to live in America… I am proud to live in Crossville. The support I had today was just amazing. I can’t thank you all enough for helping me honor this hero. I was able to honor him with a 12.21 mile walk and I felt that the town was with me the whole way. You all are amazing .. Thank You

I got to talk with several people and I even had a homeless guy walk about a 1/2 mile with me. We had a wonderful talk and I think he was inspired and was in a better place then when we started. Am so proud to be an American….
