My walk this morning was dedicated in honor of:

Army Pfc. David D. Finch, Age 24 of Bath Springs, TN.
KIA Dec. 8 2010 in Iraq during Operation New Dawn

Dustin joined the military in September 2009 as a cavalry scout. He was assigned to 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Hood, in February 2010 and deployed in support of Operation New Dawn in August 2010.

David played football for four years at Humboldt High School and graduated in 2005. He was the team’s captain and Most Valuable Player during the 2004 football season. He also played football at Bethel University from 2005 to 2009, where he was studying civil engineering before he left to join the military.

Finch’s awards and decorations include National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon.

My walk this morning was amazing. I want to thank everyone for helping me honor this hero with all your honks, and waves. We will keep his memories alive.
