Today my walk was dedicated in honor of:

Capt. Boris died supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Bermel, Afghanistan when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device.
Capt. Boris was on a 15-Month deployment and previously served a tour in Iraq in 2004.
Born in Pottsville, he was a 1995 graduate of Pottsville High School and a 1999 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He was also a graduate of the U.S. Army Armor School. He was Airborne and Air Assault qualified.
We had a great 10.31 Mile walk. We started off walking to Holiday Hills Lake and then we stopped up town at the War Memorial Park. We stopped in the Crossville City Cemetery to visit some of our Fallen Brothers and Sisters in Arms and continued took the back way over to Walmart and back to 127 and we made a stop over by Krogers. I want to thank Kroger’s for flying our beautiful colors. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 168 honks this morning.
Let us never forget Army Capt. David A. Boris !
