My walk today was dedicated in honor of :

Army Veteran CPL James Clyde Burks, Age 74 of Crossville, TN.
Died Dec. 12, 2005

He had served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a POW Guard.
He was Married to Eloise Davis and had three kids. Two sons and one daughter.
Died of Parkinson disease 2005.

He is buried in the Creston Cemetery

He was a good Christian man who loved his family and his family loved him.

We had an amazing 11.13 Mile walk today. We walk to his grave in the Creston Cemetery and met with some of his family. It was really nice to meet them and to hear a little more about their hero. He was an amazing man and I am glad that I had the honor of walking with him today. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today and I want to thank all those who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero.

Army Veteran CPL James Clyde Burks will not be forgotten !
