My walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Army SP4 Charles C. Napper, Age 21 of Shelbyville, TN.
KIA Nov. 7, 1969 Vietnam
He is honored at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on panel 16W, Line 43
Charles is buried at Willoment Cemetery, Shelbyville,TN.
Charles was assigned to the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment
SP4 Napper was awarded: Vietnam Bronze Star and 2 Oak Leaf Clusters,Purple Heart, National Defense, Vietnam Service, and Vietnam Campaign Medals.
Our 8.50 mile walk today was amazing. We walked a couple back roads that I have never walked before. I want to thank my friend Robert for walking with us today. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero today. It was amazing.
