My walk this morning was dedicated in honor of :
Navy Veteran Bobby J Barker, Age 74 of Crossville, TN.
Died Mar. 3, 2020
He had retired from the Navy Seabees as a Senior Chief. He later retired as an Engineer for TDOT.
He had served during Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf War.
We had a great 12.57 mile walk. The weather was perfect and the honks were amazing. I want to thank everyone who honked and waved in helping me honor this hero. We did a few Facebook lives during our walk. We spent some time up at the War Memorial Park down town and then we walked to his grave in the city cemetery. While we were their we visited several other Veterans who had passed away. We had a great walk.
He will not be forgotten !
Thank you for walking for my Uncle Bob. His family was devastated when he fell ill and died. Thank you for honoring him and all the other veterans you walk for!
