Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Army SPC Brent A. Rimer Jr, Age 35 of Concord, MI.
Died Feb. 10, 2018
Brent attended Columbia Central High School, Columbia, Tennessee. He joined the United States Army and deployed to the Middle East in support of the Global War on Terror; Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, attaining the rank of specialist.
It was a great honor to walk 10.75 Miles with Army SPC Brent A. Rimer Jr today. We walked Sparta Hwy to Northside Drive and then headed up 127. We took a short break at Family Ties and then headed towards town. We made a stop at the Veteran Memorial Park and read some names of our Fallen Brothers on the Memorial Wall. We then made our way to West Ave and headed back towards the house. I want to thank everyone who honked, Waved, and Saluted in helping me honor this hero today. We had 479 honks. It was amazing. We didn’t let a little cold weather stop us today. We had a great walk.
