Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:

Marine SGT Logan DeLanoy, Age 25 of San Diego, CA.
Died Apr. 1, 2024

Logan lived his younger years in the Harrisburg Area. He had a lot of energy, and it definitely followed him wherever he went. He attended public school until his freshman year of high school at Harrisburg High School, and then transferred to Willamette Leadership Academy for the rest of high school. He thrived at the Leadership Academy and won the Iron Man Competition three years in a row. He worked at the Junction City pool throughout school. He enlisted in the Marines at 17, which he was very proud of doing. One of his greatest strengths was his deep commitment to his friends. He was the leader of every group, making sure everyone laughed together, stuck together, and supported each other through thick and this. His funny antics, smile, strengthen, and commitment will be greatly missed.

I was honored to walk 8.40 Miles today with Marine SGT Logan DeLanoy. We started out walking my Lake Holiday Hills. I could see a little fog hanging over the water. It was beautiful. On our way to town we walked by Express Lunch, I want to thank them for flying our beautiful colors. We made a stop at the Veterans Memorial Park and read some names of our Fallen Brothers on the wall. We then continued North and made another stop at the Train Depot. While down town we met two different veterans and got to visit with them. One was in his 90’s and the Vietnam Veteran was in his 70’s. It was great to meet them and thank them for their service. We then continued north and we made a stop at the Crossville Centennial Park where their was some people playing softball. I got to visit with them and they ask me if I would run the bases with the flag. They all clapped and cheered as we ran all the bases. It was amazing. After leaving the park we headed west and made a stop at the 9/11 Memorial. We then headed back towards the house. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 283 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.

Marine SGT Logan DeLanoy will not be forgotten !
