Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:
Army/Air Force veteran Dana Boyd Farmer, Age 96 of Crab Orchard, TN
Died May 18, 2024
He was born January 13, 1928, in Pleasant Hill, TN. He was retired from Delta Airlines as a flight engineer and was also a retired United States Army Air Corp and Air Force veteran having served our country during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a Master Mason with Crossville Masonic Lodge 483 for more than 60 years.
We had a great 6.01 Mile walk. We started out walking by Holiday Hills Lake and then worked our way up town to the War Memorial Park where we read several names on the War Memorial Wall. We then headed back up 127 and then home. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 178 honks this morning. Thank you.
