Our walk today was dedicated in honor of :
Air Force Veteran Jack Dean Keller, Age 80 of Bluff City, TN.
Died Sep. 25, 2017
He worked in retail all his life except while being in the Air Force and an auxiliary police officer with Bristol Virginia Police Department. He was a member of New Grace Baptist Church. He loved Indians and horses.
We had a great 10.35 Mile walk today. We left the house early this morning to try and catch a sunrise. It wasn’t looking like we were going to have one but at the last min. their it was. It never disappoints. We walked down Northside Drive and what a beautiful morning it was. We then walked down 127 to the War memorial Park down town. We read several names on the Memorial Wall before heading home. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 252 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
Air Force Veteran Jack Dean Keller will not be forgotten !
Personal Note: I had a special feeling doing this walk with Jack. Just a few months ago I did a walk with my step father who has the very same name. I am sure both of them were right their walking with me. I felt it.
