Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Marine Veteran Malcolm Payne, Age 34 of Orlando, FL.
Died Jan. 21, 2024
He was a corporal in the marines. Served 4 years in okinawa Japan as a journalist. He was a radio DJ for the military base. He was an excellent musician including guitar, piano, drums and vocals.
He was from Crossville, TN and had recently moved to Orlando, FL.
We had a great 5.97 Mile walk today. We walked by Holiday Hills Lake and then walked up town to the War Memorial Park. We then headed back towards the house. I want to thank my friend Robert, Carl, and Amber for walking with us today. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero today. We had 144 honks. It was amazing.
